Last Chance Holiday Market and Happy Holidays!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Staircase Theatre for Handmade Hamilton! Join me at Needlings' last market of the year - the Last Chance Holiday Market taking place at the beautiful HARRRP Centre at 705 Main Street East in Hamilton on Thursday, December 21st - the winter solstice!

Admission $2 - all proceeds go to HARRRP, the Hamilton Association for Residential and Recreational Redevelopment Programs.

Needlings is Ten! Enter the Giveaway!

Ten years ago I made a simple little felt toy for a little girl with special needs. I liked doing it so much that I made a few more. With the encouragement of my friends and family, I reluctantly put those on a little website called Etsy for 20 cents each and I watched them all sell - much to my surprise. A year later, I did my first craft show (which was terrifying to me at the time) and just kept going from there. I could never have imagined it would be as important to me as it has become. Needlings has taken up much of my life (and in some ways, my friends' and families' lives – sorry guys) for 10 whole years. It's been my constant through many happy times, struggles, and heart breaks and has been my best friend in a lot of ways. It hasn't always been easy to keep going and there are even moments I wonder why I do but I've been lucky to have met so many friends and wonderful people and I never forget how truly lucky I am to receive the support and love I have had for these silly little things all these years. I really want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for buying, encouraging, liking, and sticking with Needlings this long with me. I really truly couldn't do it without you.

Supercrawl 2017

Another Supercrawl weekend over! What an amazing weekend for Hamilton and an extra awesome weekend for me. I'm so grateful to have been a part of this amazing event every year since its start and am forever grateful to the organizers, my fellow vendors, artists, and performers, my family and friends, and every single person who came by the Needlings booth over the last few days. To have a whole three days to be reminded why I am lucky to be able to do what I do and have the support and love of so many people is truly overwhelming and I loved every single minute of it! I'm the sappiest happiest toy maker and I could not do this without you and absolutely loved seeing you all!
