Ten years ago I made a simple little felt toy for a little girl with special needs. I liked doing it so much that I made a few more. With the encouragement of my friends and family, I reluctantly put those on a little website called Etsy for 20 cents each and I watched them all sell - much to my surprise. A year later, I did my first craft show (which was terrifying to me at the time) and just kept going from there. I could never have imagined it would be as important to me as it has become. Needlings has taken up much of my life (and in some ways, my friends' and families' lives – sorry guys) for 10 whole years. It's been my constant through many happy times, struggles, and heart breaks and has been my best friend in a lot of ways. It hasn't always been easy to keep going and there are even moments I wonder why I do but I've been lucky to have met so many friends and wonderful people and I never forget how truly lucky I am to receive the support and love I have had for these silly little things all these years. I really want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for buying, encouraging, liking, and sticking with Needlings this long with me. I really truly couldn't do it without you.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Needings booth at Supercrawl this weekend.
This is the 9th Supercrawl and I've been lucky enough to be there with Needlings at every single one and it is consistently my favourite weekend of the year.
Thank you again for all the support!
If you're visiting looking for something you didn't pick up or was sold out over the weekend, feel free to check out the shop, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact me on any social media site @needlings.
